The new multi-million-pound GlaxoSmithKline Carbon Neutral Laboratory for Sustainable Chemistry at the University of Nottingham is now complete. Salford University opens £3m ‘Megalab’

A £3m state of the art Environment and Life Sciences laboratory at the University of Salford is to be named after geneticist Sir Walter Bodmer. Who will officially open the laboratory on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Sir Walter, one of the proposers of the Human Genome Project in the 1980s, and former research director of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund. The Human Genome Project – which mapped some 3 billion pairs of genes which make up our DNA – is considered the most significant advance in the biosciences in a century. Further award For St John Bosco Arts College

St John Bosco Arts College, Liverpool has won the Public Sector Interior Project of the Year award at the 2015 Mixology awards. The award was given on 25 June at Mixology 15, Mix Interiors’ summer ball and awards, held at Old Billingsgate in London.

Awards success for St John Bosco Arts College

St John Bosco Arts College in Liverpool was announced as a RIBA Award winner in the north west region at an event in Manchester on 16 April. The project also scooped the client of the year award which went to Liverpool City Council and head teacher Anne Pontifex.
