FBS Contracts, in collaboration with T SQUARED’s team, designed and manufactured state-of-the-art laboratories for Upperton Pharma Solutions in Nottingham.
The project included 10 new GMP manufacturing suites, QC labs, and analytical labs.
FBS Contracts manufactured and installed 16mm Trespa Toplab Plus worktops offering durability and chemical resistance. The labs feature a 40 x 40 mild steel support frame with concealed adjustable feet for added strength and stability.
The arrangement of the perimeter and island benching enables collaboration of work with reagent shelving included for easy access to materials to streamline workflow. Mobile units were positioned beneath the worktops to allow flexibility for reconfiguration. Fixed storage units were also installed for specialist storage requirements.
Cast epoxy resin sinks were selected for their high resistance to chemicals, acid, and heat, as well as their durability against impact and scratches, making them ideal for rigorous laboratory cleaning.
