FBS Contracts Limited played a pivotal role in the redevelopment of Parklands High School in Merseyside; designing a safe and engaging SEND-friendly space for pupils with physical or behavioural challenges.
Collaborating with Robertson Construction, FBS Contracts were engaged early in the project, liaising with the School’s Senior Leadership team to understand and develop the brief to meet with their aspirations.
FBS Contracts designed, manufactured, and installed bespoke furniture to the Science laboratories, STEM classrooms, Hair and Beauty studios, Art, Textiles, Design & Technology, Lifeskills and Music rooms.
The sawtooth benching to the textiles rooms, manufactured in 25mm Laminated MDF creates sturdy, individual workspaces for students to use sewing machines during practical lessons. This design maximises space, enables better visibility and therefore enhances safety.
FBS Contracts’ commitment to inclusivity resulted in a state-of-the-art learning environment, fostering a safe and supportive educational experience for all students.
